Thursday marks the fifth year anniversary of San Francisco's first same sex wedding.

More than 4,000 couples were married before the state Supreme Court ordered the marriages to stop.

Local organizers are planning a rally in the rotunda of City Hall. On March 5th, the California Supreme Court will hear oral arguments over whether to overturn Proposition 8, which overturned a state Supreme Court ruling that allowed same sex marriages in the state.
