Make Sally Kellerman's Fudge!

Sally Kellerman's Fudge Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of Sugar
  • Generous pinch of salt
  • 2/3 can of condensed milk
  • 2 ½ heaping tablespoons of heresy's chocolate power (Depending on how dark you want it)
  • teaspoon of vanilla
  • ½ stick of butter
  • Cup of cold Water
Process:
  • Add ingredients into sauce pan
  • Put on medium heat
  • Stir until it starts to boil
  • Watch the mixture boil until bubbles start to get small.
  • By ready with a cold cup of water
  • Drop a teaspoon of the mixture into the water. If it makes a soft ball it's done.
  • Turn off flame
  • Add teaspoon of vanilla
  • ½ stick of butter
  • Mix together
  • Let cool for 20 minutes
  • Beat until it starts to turn lighter
  • Pour on to a plate
Notes:
Fudge is very touchy. To avoid the fudge from becoming too thin, beat it until it is light. That makes it thick. If it is a little too hard, that means there is too much sugar. Either way, it tastes good. But, when it's beaten right it usually hardens within seconds on the flat plate.
