The incident was reported at about 9:15 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Emerson Street.
Authorities determined that the house was still habitable and allowed its residents to stay overnight, the dispatcher said.
The tree also damaged at least one vehicle and some power lines, the dispatcher said.
