The suspect entered a Wells Fargo Financial center at 1760 Willow Pass Road at about 3:15 p.m., told an employee he had a bomb and demanded money, Sgt. Maurice Jennings said.

When the employees informed the man they did not have money, the suspect told them to call police and waited for officers to come and take him into custody, according to Jennings.

He has been booked into jail in Martinez for attempted robbery and claiming to have an explosive, Jennings said.
