Police spotted the stolen car in Antioch at about 10:55 p.m. and tried to pull over the driver. However, instead of stopping, he fled and police initiated a pursuit, Antioch police said.Officers chased the car through Oakley, Brentwood and Pittsburg before the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot near Canada Valley Road north of Lone Tree Way in Antioch.
Police searched the area but weren't able to find the suspect.
