Along with his duties as a spiritual leader, Rev. Boyd is also dedicated to ensuring that the members of his community are treated equally and with respect.
Before his current position, Reverend Boyd served as Pastor for AME Churches across the country including Colorado, Wyoming, and Washington State. His three decades of experience give him the clarity and vision to help lead his church today.
Reverend Boyd has been honored by political, civic, religious, and educational organizations throughout the country with over 100 notable citations. Along with his work through the church, he also serves as the Executive Director for the Allen Community Development Corporation and as President of the Board of Directors for multiple apartment buildings in Bethel AME Church's Housing Ministry.
Reverend Boyd is a member of the NAACP, San Francisco Chapter and is the Clerical Dean for the California Conference of the AME Church where he continues his work for civil rights through faith.
After earning his Bachelors Degree in community development at Western Washington University, Reverend Boyd received his Master of Divinity Degree from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.
