How to get red carpet-ready

Audrey's red carpet-ready tips:

Underwear
Select the correct undergarment for the gown. They can make all the difference.

Hair
Design the hair style to compliment your dress. Choose a style that will last without touch ups .Best styles include:

  1. Sleek straight style
  2. An unstructured bun worn at the nape of your neck.
  3. A smooth sleek up do.
Do not use a lot of product, especially hair spray. Instead of teasing your hair, consider adding clips to your hair. Use a color that matches the dress.

Makeup
Design your look with colors that compliment the dress. Pay particular attention to your skin. Suggestions include:

>> Skin
Use a primer
Use light layers of foundation
Add a luminator near your cheeks
Use pink or oral blush (stick or liquid) on the apples of your cheeks

>> Foundation
Use a mineral powder to set the base
Dewy foundation, using 2 colors: a light color in the T zone and a warmer color on the outside

>> Eyes
Liquid Eyeliner for staying power in black
Use water proof mascara
Wear false eyelashes
Use an eyelash Curler
Use a cream eye shadow in a deep metallic shade; consider a deep hued eye shadow gray & charcoal shade
Include shimmer eye shadow as a topcoat over matte shadow for a glimmer look

>> Eye Brows
Brows defined but in a light shade

>> Checks
Pink or Coral shade like Tarte Perfect Whirled or Benefit Posie or Benefit Coralista

>> Lips
Start with a lip stain
Use a creamy lipstick with no gloss. A plum shade is very trendy right now.
