SJ man pleads guilty to child porn

Thomas Green Jr., who was the director of finance for an area hospital, pleaded guilty Monday, admitting that from at least Jan. 9, 2006, through Nov. 9, 2006, he knowingly sent at least 67 e-mails that contained images of minors, including children under 10 years old, engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to the Department of Justice.

Green traded child pornography in chatrooms, the Department of Justice reported.

He faces between five and 20 years imprisonment and a maximum fine of $250,000 when he is sentenced June 1.

Green had faced five counts of transmitting child pornography, three counts of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. Under the plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to one count of transmitting and one count of possessing child pornography.
