Santa Rosa agencies hit in string of burglaries

Sometime between Feb. 16 and Feb. 19, two laptop computers were taken in a burglary at the Sonoma County Water Agency at 2150 West College Ave., police said.

Three other burglaries were reported in the area between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The Santa Rosa Municipal Service Center at 55 Stony Point Road had one building door damage and four city police vehicles sustained broken windows, according to police. Computers were taken from each of the patrol cars, according to police.

Equipment belonging to the Santa Rosa Junior College Training Center was taken in a burglary at the Santa Rosa Fire Department Training Tower at 2126 West College Ave., police said. Stolen items included rescue equipment for training and tools.

Additionally, laptop computers and other computer-related times were taken from Pacific Gas and Electric Co. at 111 Stony Circle.
