Santa Rosa bank robbed at gunpoint

The man entered the bank at 6585 Oakmont Drive around 5:50 p.m., Sgt. Lisa Banayat said.

He pointed a gun at the teller, demanded cash and threatened to kill the teller if she set off an alarm, Banayat said. Before leaving, the suspect fired a shot into the ceiling, Banayat said. No one was injured.

The suspect is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a mask, a black sweatshirt and dark pants, Banayat said.
