Police responded to the intersection of 51st Street and Foothill Boulevard at about 2:25 a.m. where two suspects lost control of an allegedly stolen vehicle and crashed it into a pole, an Oakland patrol officer said.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Details as to whether the victims were being pursued were not immediately available.
