Starting in September, Delta Airlines is cutting its international flights by 10 percent.

Delta's CEO says the worsening global economy is putting more pressure on the industry, especially the international markets.

The company will reduce jobs because of the flight cuts, but it is unclear how many jobs will be lost.

The reductions are in addition to a December announcement that the company would reduce the total number of seats on all flights where revenue has declined.
