Witnesses say the car was speeding down MacArthur Boulevard, weaving in and out of traffic, when it hit another car making a left turn at 82nd Avenue, and then crashed through a wall of concrete and plywood. The impact was so strong; it knocked liquor bottles off the shelves of the store next door. The owner says he had to jump the counter to avoid getting hurt.

"I look to my left. I look at the street, and I see that. And then literally about two seconds later, I hear the boom from the car inside here, and I have to jump the counter to run for my life," Joseph Alabi said.

One person in the speeding car was taken to the hospital, their condition is unknown. The driver of the other car was unhurt.

Witnesses say speeding has long been a problem on that stretch of MacArthur Boulevard.
