Officers responded at about 7:15 p.m. to the 600 block of San Marco Street after receiving a report of a motorcyclist injured in a solo traffic accident, according to Fairfield police.
Arriving officers found the victim, who had fallen from the scooter and was suffering from visible head injuries.
He was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek to be treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
The collision is being investigated as alcohol-related, according to police.
