Police responded to a shooting reported at about 1:35 a.m. near Telegraph Avenue and 28th Street, according to the Oakland Police Department.
One victim was killed and another was transported to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
No arrests have been made and suspect information was not immediately available, police said.
