The one-alarm fire was reported at 2:31 a.m. at 558 Webber Lane, just outside Santa Rosa city limits.

By the time firefighters arrived, the home was fully involved and flames were blowing across the road, Lantz said.

Two people, both adults, were in the house when the fire broke out but escaped unharmed before firefighters arrived. According to Lantz, the home was equipped with working smoke detectors.

Firefighters had the blaze under control by 3:14 a.m.

No other homes were threatened and nobody was hurt.

Fire investigators remained at the house Monday morning working to determined the cause of the blaze and estimate the damage, Lantz said.
