The banners were unveiled last night at a community meeting and the city showed them to ABC7 today.
City councilmembers approved the Koreatown designation along Telegraph Avenue between 20th and 35th avenues in July of 2007.
Most of the cost of the banners came from an assessment approved by area residents and businesses. a celebration is set for April 21st when 50 banners will go up.
