The six victims, five men and one woman between the ages of 18 and 20, were in a corner of the park at 4363 Concord Blvd. shortly after 8:30 p.m. when the suspect approached them.

The man, who was dressed in a black trench coat, black pants and black shoes, and wearing a black ski mask with eye holes cut out of it, pulled out a silver revolver and ordered the group to empty their pockets onto a nearby picnic table, Cerletti said.

The victims did as they were told. The suspect then ordered them to get down on the ground, gathered up their belongings, which included cash, wallets and cigarettes, and fled through a pedestrian gate onto Woodsdale Drive, Cerletti said.

The victims reported the robbery and police searched the area with a police dog, but were unable to find the gunman.

Nobody was hurt and no arrests were made, Cerletti said.
