Astronaut Mike Massimino will use the micro-blogging service between now and liftoff, to give a behind the scenes look at his training.
On May 12, 2009, he and the rest of the shuttle Atlantis crew will blast off, on a mission to repair the Hubble space telescope. Massimino will take part in at least one spacewalk, but NASA has not said whether he will be sending tweets from space.
