Daniel Martin was arrested after Petaluma police received a report at about 1:30 a.m. of a fight in a parking garage on Keller Street.

Arriving officers found several people running away from the scene of the fight, and got a description of a suspect with the help of a security guard on duty at the garage, according to police.

Additional officers found the victim, a 35-year-old Rohnert Park man, chasing Martin, who was arrested after a short pursuit on foot, police said.

The victim sustained a broken nose and was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and later released, according to police.

An investigation into the incident determined that the incident began between patrons of Pazzo's Bar, located at 132 Keller Street next to the garage. The fight involved alcohol and is not believed to be gang-related, police said.

Martin was booked in Sonoma County Jail with bail set at $10,000, according to police.
