Five wounded from Oakland shootings

Oakland police are investigating three separate shootings.

The first happened at about 8:30 Tuesday night on Hillside Street police say they found one person who had been shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital.

The most recent shooting happened at about 2:30 Wednesday morning at Bella Vista and 13th Avenue. Two people in a car were injured when their vehicle crashed into a pole, after someone fired at least nine shots at their car. The gunman hit houses and cars, but did not hit anyone.

The third shooting happened at about 11:30 Tuesday night. A suspect in one car shot into another car on 14th and East 27th street. The victim's car then crashed into two parked cars right in front of Highland Hospital. One person was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

There have been no arrests in any of the shootings. The incidents appear to not be related.
