East Bay mandatory water rationing over

Water conservation has paid off in the East Bay.

On Tuesday, the Board of Directors for the East Bay Municipal Utility District voted to end mandatory water rationing.

One reason for the change was that it's one 1.3 million customers did such an effective job conserving. The board is still asking people to voluntarily conserve water.
