Anil Kumar was at work at the 5 Star Gas Station at 101 Lincoln Road West, off Interstate Highway 80, when three men wearing dark clothing entered the store around 9 p.m.

One was armed with a handgun and the men demanded money, Lt. Abel Tenorio said. Several shots were fired and Kumar was hit.

The suspects then fled without taking any cash, Tenorio said.

The incident was recorded on a surveillance camera and police are investigating whether the three men also robbed a Domino's Pizza at 1833 Springs Road around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Tenorio said.

No one was injured in that robbery, police said.
