Police say 34-year-old Damien Bell lured several victims to the East Bay hills, by placing bogus used car ads. Investigators say he then robbed them at gunpoint. Police say bell shot and wounded one victim.
Investigators say they traced the robberies to bell through DNA recovered on a watch he lost during a scuffle with the shooting victim. Bell has served time in prison for two previous robberies.
