This year's award honors Margie Lowe, a 90-year-old San Jose woman who volunteers extensively at the South San Jose VA Clinic's Day Respite Program for disabled and elderly veterans.
Supervisors will honor her at 1:30 p.m. in the county board chambers.
The award was established in 1991 to recognize those who offer outstanding support and dedication to Santa Clara County veterans.
