Blood drive confusion forces prison lockdown

There was a scare Tuesday at San Quentin State Prison that caused the prison to be locked down.

A bloodmobile truck that had been at the facility for a blood drive took off without stopping to have guards check what was in the back of the truck.

Prison officials insist it was not an escape attempt; everyone has been accounted for.

The truck never got close to inmates -- it was there for an employee blood drive.

The lockdown was lifted after about an hour and a half.
