Man shot in head in South San Francisco

A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the head in South San Francisco early Saturday morning, according to the Police Department.

The shooting, which police believe was gang-related, was reported at 1:30 a.m. at Linden and California avenues, police said.

Witnesses identified the suspect as 23-year-old Ariel Francisco Cabeza of South San Francisco and San Mateo, according to police.

Cabeza drives a silver 1990 Lincoln Town Car with a California license plate No. 6APP435. He is considered to be armed and dangerous, police said.
