LGBT Dance Competition
Cheryl Burke Dance will host "Dancing with the Drag Stars," a ballroom dance competition for the city's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community this summer. The competition will run as a three-night event on June 6, July 11 and Aug. 8. Cheryl Burke, a featured dancer on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", will preside over the events as a judge. The city's leading drag queens Bebe Sweetbriar and Donna Sachet will host and judge at the show respectively.

"The dance competition is a way to welcome and invite the LGBT community to our studios," said Burke. "We're looking forward to a fun and fabulous night of dancing."

The events will be held at Cheryl Burke Dance, 1830 17th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. The competition begins at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Tickets may be purchased at Ticketweb. VIP admission, $100, includes the celebrity cocktail reception with Cheryl Burke at 6 p.m. and VIP seating. Cabaret admission, $50, includes cabaret seating. General admission is $20. All tickets include two drinks and admission to Wunderland, a popular downtown nightclub.
