30-year-old Brett Bartlett was first convicted in 2005 in Santa Clara County, of sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16. He served two years in prison.

Then on Tuesday, Bartlett went to the Livermore Police Department for his annual registration as a sex offender.

That's when detectives found a computer in his car, that they say contained numerous images of child pornography.

Investigators are trying to identify the victims.

They're asking parents of any children who had contact with Bartlett to contact the Livermore police Lt. Matthew Sarsfield at (925) 371-4730.
