Detectives and special enforcement officers in plain clothes visited three massage parlors around 2 p.m. Xin Wang, a 33-year-old Alhambra resident, at Cupid Massage and Suphap Suktoem, a 48-year-old San Pablo resident, at Rainbow Massage were arrested on suspicion of prostitution, police said.
The operation followed numerous complaints of alleged prostitution and/or illicit acts inside the businesses, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Police will send reports to City Hall and the parlors will potentially have their business licenses revoked.
