Italian Street Painting Festival
June 13th and 14th
Downtown San Rafael
Saturday's Family Day will feature a diverse range of activities and performances for our youngest visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and an Art Search game for all to enjoy. Kids use their five senses to complete challenges throughout the Festival at locations marked with red, white and green balloons. Each time they complete a challenge, they'll earn a punch on their gamecard. When the card is complete, they can return to Children's Avenue to collect a prize.
They also have Children's Avenue, where kids are the maestri madonnari of the future! Families with children who want to paint their own square can purchase a space at Children's Avenue, open throughout the Festival on Saturday and Sunday. they reserve 1,500 small "squares" for kids ages 2-12. For only $12, kids are assigned a 2'x2' square and given a box of chalk pastels to create their masterpiece.
