Turnout was so high at the polling place in Emeryville that the initial order of 800 ballots was not enough. Voting officials ordered 600 more on Friday, but they still ran out.

/*Mir Hossein Mousavi*/ was backed by young people, who had boycotted recent elections. They made up one-third of the voters in this election.

Many say their turnout will force the Iranian government to re-evaluate its policies and its positions.
