San Mateo 101 lanes closed parts of next week

All southbound lanes of Highway 101 between Broadway and Poplar Avenue will be closed on Monday between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

All northbound lanes of Highway 101 will be closed between Third and Peninsula avenues on Tuesday between midnight and 4 a.m., according to Caltrans.

On Friday, the southbound lanes of Highway 101 will be closed between Broadway and Poplar Avenue between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., while the northbound lanes will be closed between Third and Peninsula avenues between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m.

During the closures, southbound Highway 101 traffic will be detoured southbound on Broadway, turn left on Rollins Road, turn right onto Humboldt Street, left onto Poplar Avenue, and back onto Highway 101, according to Caltrans.

Northbound Highway 101 detoured traffic will exit at Third Avenue, turn right onto Humboldt Street, turn right on Peninsula Avenue, turn left onto Airport Boulevard and continue onto the Highway 101 on-ramp.

The closures will also allow construction crews to remove temporary structures from the Peninsula Avenue overcrossing, according to Caltrans.
