The mechanical problem was reported at about 8:45 a.m. on a train near the Glen Park station, the dispatcher said.
The problem was fixed by 9:20 a.m., but there were residual delays of 20-30 minutes for trains headed to the Peninsula, and about 15-minute delays for trains headed from the Peninsula to the East Bay, the dispatcher said.
By 10:20 a.m., all trains were back on time.
