Arriving officers found the victim with a wounded back. He notified police that around 10 p.m., a white Honda occupied by four Hispanic males ranging in age from 17 to 25 years old had pulled alongside him as he was walking in the area of Freedom Boulevard and Sydney Avenue, police said.

The victim told police that one of men asked him where he was from as another man exited the car from the rear passenger seat. The victim said he ignored the question and continued on his way as the group proceeded to shout gang slogans.
