1 killed, 2 wounded in Tenderloin shooting

One man was killed and two others injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Ellis and Jones streets just after 3 a.m., according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Two victims were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, and a third was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Any information regarding a suspect was not immediately available, police said.

An investigation into the homicide was underway this morning.
