A woman was found dead near a hiking trail in Santa Teresa County Park, about 10 miles south of San Jose.
The Santa Clara County sheriff's department says another hiker found Linda Fradkin, 57, from San Mateo around 6:30 Sunday evening.
Investigators say it's not clear yet how she died or how long she had been on the trail.
