Father Floyd Lotito died last week at the age of 74 after a battle with Parkinson's disease.

Several hundred people attended Tuesday's services at Saint Boniface Church in the Tenderloin.

The Franciscan priest is most well known for starting the Saint Anthony's Dining Room in 1981. It is now the largest free meal program in San Francisco, serving nearly 2,600 meals a day.
