Alberto Arizpe, 28, and Josephine Alvarez, 36, were shot multiple times at about 9:15 p.m. at a home in the 500 block of Dallas avenue, police said. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was treated and released from a local hospital, police said.
Investigators have determined the victims were at a small get together when two suspects approached the home's front door and fired multiple shots.
The two male suspects were last seen running south on Dallas Avenue toward Garner Avenue and the shooting is being investigated as gang-related.
