The Perseids meteor shower is expected to peak between midnight Tuesday and 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. The rocky debris from a wandering comet will light up the night sky with bright streaks and blazing fireballs.

Astronomers suggest viewers give their eyes 15 minutes to adjust to the darkness. They also recommend getting far away from city lights and not using binoculars or telescopes so you can view a wider space.
