State parks officials closed Seacliff State Beach and New Brighton State Beach in Santa Cruz County Tuesday after spotting a shark feeding on a porpoise.

The beaches will be closed for the next six days.

People are also being kept out of the water at Stinson Beach in Marin County until at least Friday after two boogie boarders reported seeing a shark on Monday.

One said it was as "big as a truck."
