The Metropolitan Transportation Commission is recommending that drivers budget an extra hour for their commute. Several San Francisco hotels are even offering special BART rates next week for people who cannot afford to fight the traffic.
Hyatt Regency (SFO)
The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport is offering a special BART strike rate of $79 that includes self-parking and a hot cup of coffee to help ease the ride to work.

Parc 55
Parc 55 has a "Beat the BART Blues at Parc 55" rate for their View Rooms of $119 per night without parking, or $149 per night with parking. Parc 55 is located at 55 Cyril Magnin Street near the intersection of Market and 5th in San Francisco.
