Kids Day, Presented by Comcast: Monday August, 17th

>> All day children ages 12 and under come to the San Mateo County Fair and receive free admission!

Seniors' Day, Presented by Health Plan San Mateo: Tuesday, August 18th

>> Free for those 55 and older.

>> Be sure to visit the Seniors' Day Exhibits located in Expo Hall. This will be your opportunity to visit educational exhibits and ask professionals questions on topics of health, diet, finance, residential living and non-profit services for seniors in San Mateo County.

>> The San Mateo County Fair is proud to sponsor the 30th Annual "My Fair Lady" Pageant. Join us for this one-of-a kind event to find out who will be crowned! The 30th Annual My Fair Lady Pageant begins at 12 pm on the Fiesta Hall on the Main Stage.

>> Special entertainment includes Senior's in Show Biz, Silver Bells and the Aurora Mandolin Orchestra Melody and more.

>> All guests entering the Fair before 3 pm are free!

Green Transportation Day, Presented by SamsTrans: Thursday, August 20th

>> Receive a discount by riding your bike or rollerblades to the fair. Simply check in your equipment at the bike parking area to get your discount coupon.

>> Join the Fair by train or bus and present your travel ticket at the ticket office to receive a discount.

Food Bank Day: Friday, August 21th

>> Bring a can of food to donate and save on admission.

Grounds Entertainment

Hambone Express Pig Races:
The Hambone Express racing pigs join the San Mateo County Fair for another year of squealing racing. Snort for your favorite pig each day as it sprints around the track. Every year the pig races continue to grow in popularity, and are always entertaining for people of all ages. Arrive early to get your seat - may the best pig win!

Steve-Hypnotist:
Be memorized by Steve Bayner, the Hypnotist, casting a controlled trance over volunteers from the audience. Each performance is different and has new elements depending on who decides to raise their hand to participate, you'll be fascinated watching the volunteers participate and will love seeing the different reactions from each person on stage.

The Recessionistas:
Watch in awe the defying belles as they perform aerial acts high above the stage with acrobatics and cabaret style choreography. A delicious slice of contemporary circus donning colorful costumes with graceful athleticism and cheerful theatrics – a circus dance troupe crowd pleaser.

Brews & Blues Stage:
Come dance and sing the blues with the Shane Dwight Band while you enjoy a cold drink and the company of friends. The Brews & Blues Stage is located across from Expo Hall near the East Entrance, and music starts at 6:30.

Dream Science:
A unique circus comedy, that is astoundingly fresh, has been blending up and serving a tasty and wild mix of creative interactive theater, outrageous sketch comedy, and jaw-dropping acrobatics since 2004. The show is a spectacular array of dance, music, physical comedy, pantomime, and aerial acrobatics into a neatly and professionally crafted storyline hosted by "Dream Scientist" Dr. Ludo Hopenspitz.
