Ross' former boyfriend, Nathaniel Burris, is in custody in connection with her murder. They had shared a home together in Richmond.
Burris is also charged with fatally shooting Chuck Everette, a Golden Gate Transit bus driver who was waiting for Ross in the bridge plaza parking lot.
