On August 12th, 125 teamsters drivers, mechanics and recycling plant workers voted to authorize a strike against "Green Team," the garbage-hauling company serving western San Jose, Campbell, Monte Sereno, Los Gatos and Saratoga.

The two sides are at odds over pay, the amount workers should pay for health insurance, and the pension plan.

The contract expired in June, but no strike is imminent.
