12 words you shouldn't say in the office

They are the words and phrases you never want to get caught saying around the office.

ABC News has put together a list of out-dated tech terms.

Words like "web surfing" is on the banned list. Instead, you should use words like "browsing", or "Google" as a verb.

Also try to avoid "weblog", "world wide web" and, thanks to flat rate telephone plans, the phrase "long distance call".

  5. Application Service Provider (ASP)
  6. Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)
  7. Internet Telephony
  8. Weblog
  9. Thin Client
  10. RBOC
  11. Long-Distance Call
  12. World Wide Web
