Gregory Lopez, 19, and Eddie Rivera, 22, both of San Jose, were the second and third suspects arrested in an Aug. 15 incident at the Alum Rock Light Rail station, according to the sheriff's office.

Kristina Harris-Perkins, 19, of Stockton died after she was stabbed when a fight broke out at the station, the sheriff's office said. Her traveling companions, a 19-year-old Oakland man and a 16-year-old girl, were also stabbed and underwent surgery at Regional Medical Center in San Jose for their wounds.

On Aug. 20, sheriff's detectives arrested 19-year-old David Pilipina of San Jose in connection with the case, the sheriff's office said. On Aug. 28, the department issued warrants for the arrests of Lopez and Rivera.

Sheriff's office spokesman Sgt. Rick Sung said detectives have been "working around the clock" on the case, and they asked friends and family of Lopez and Rivera to convince the two to turn themselves in.

On Wednesday, Lopez called the sheriff's office and told detectives he would surrender himself at the Gilroy Police Department, Sung said. Sheriff's detectives met him there, and Rivera later turned himself in at sheriff's headquarters in San Jose.
