The Napa County Sheriff's Department issued a missing-persons alert Wednesday morning. Sheriff's Capt. Tracey Stuart said Laci Issel, who is pregnant, was under medical care at the hospital and is considered at-risk.

Issel asked for help at a car wash in St. Helena after she left the hospital, Stuart said.

A woman picked her up, took her to her home and gave her clothing, Stuart said. Issel told the woman she had gotten into a fight with her boyfriend and left him, Stuart said.

Issel then left the home and went to another St. Helena residence for help. A resident there contacted police, Stuart said.
