Tips when doing this experience:
- Do not pour any large amount of cornstarch and water mixture down the drain. It will clog it up! Instead, dump any extra mixture into a large plastic garbage bag and throw it away in the trash.
- It's much easier to scrape up dry cornstarch with a metal spatula or pastry scraper than it is to wipe it with a wet cloth or towel.
- If you cannot find sugar cubes at your local supermarket, try Smart & Final. They are located all over the Bay Area.
