Protestors push boycott of Sri Lankan products

One of those stores was the Gap at Market and Powell. Protesters were also outside the Victoria's Secret a few blocks away. Activists say the Sri Lankan military has killed tens of thousands of Tamils and is holding 300,000 others in concentration camps.

They say military salaries are being paid for by exports including large amounts of clothing sold in the U.S.

Similar protests were held Saturday in 14 other cities in the U.S. and Canada.

As of Saturday afternoon, none of the retailers had commented on the protests.
